At the Women's Health Center of Beatrice, we know that having a baby is an exciting and amazing experience. Our physicians and staff will be with you every step of your momentous journey.
Preconception Planning and Fertility Services We encourage women to plan early for pregnancy by working with their physician to address issues related to nutrition, lifestyle, immunizations, and overall health. Our physicians can counsel you on healthy preconception, as well as address fertility concerns or issues.
Prenatal Care It is critical that mothers and their growing babies receive exceptional care during pregnancy. Our prenatal care program includes helpful guidance on pregnancy health and well-being, as well as careful monitoring of mother and baby health. A typical prenatal schedule would be:
Weeks 4 to 28: 1 visit per month (every 4 weeks) Weeks 28 to 36: 2 visits per month (every 2 to 3 weeks) Weeks 36 to birth: 1 visit per week
We have the expertise and compassion to help you - and your growing baby - enjoy a healthy and happy pregnancy.
Labor and Delivery Labor and delivery is an important part of your pregnancy experience - your care should be personal and exceptional. At Women's Heath Center of Beatrice, your baby will be delivered by your physician who will be familiar with you and your growing baby. Our physicians deliver at Beatrice Community Hospital (BCH), which provides comprehensive, family-centered obstetric care for new infants and mothers. Postpartum Care Postpartum care is an important part of mother and baby well-being. We will meet with you approximately six weeks after birth to ensure you are healing properly, as well as to answer questions or address any issues that you may have. This is an exciting visit - it is the wonderful culmination of the pregnancy and birth experience.
Please call our office if you have questions, or if you are interested in making an appointment with Dr. Gregory or Dr. McKinney. We are mothers ourselves, so we know first hand the joys and challenges that go along with this wondrous experience.
